76ers predicted to trade for $47 million ‘jack-of-all-trades’ to fill void left by Jared McCain

DiVincenzo was traded very late in the offseason, and it hasn’t led to him replicating the same production with the Timberwolves that he did with the New York Knicks last season.

His scoring average has dropped from 15.5 points to 8.3, his shooting percentage from 44.3% to 35.3%, and his three-point shooting percentage from 40.1% to nearly 32%.

That could make his trade value just low enough for the Sixers to buy low on in a potential trade.

How a trade could work between the Timberwolves and Sixers
Other factors would be at play, but a deal like this could be agreed to between the two teams.

Sixers receive: DiVincenzo

Timberwolves receive: Martin, Kyle Lowry, Reggie Jackson,

If the Timberwolves did something like this, it would be because they have given up on DiVincenzo rediscovering the player he was in New York. They would also do it to re-route what the Sixers offer here for a player who fits better.

DiVincenzo is more appealing as a player compared to other potential targets because he’s a jack-of-all-trades wing when he’s at the top of his game.

He hasn’t exactly been that player this year, which is why if there’s a time for the Sixers to get him, it’s now.
